Marcus FARR, US

Marcus Farr Projects is a progressive, entrepreneurial research & design studio operated by architect and artist Marcus Farr. The sensibilities of the studio are at once extremely creative but simple, advanced but restrained. We operate in the areas of architecture, interior environments, digital fabrications & surfacing, and are often involved in ephemeral installations that capitalize on the studios material research in light, transparency, translucency, found materials, paper folding, advanced geometry and spatial concepts. We are invested in technology, emergent methods and processes, and materials that humanize and perform. Our goal is to build upon, inspire, reference, and enhance the built environment in every location that we engage, regardless of scale, context or permanence. Reflecting on project locations, tracing histories and natural origins of a given project site is central to our work.
